OVERVIEW

Project Brief

The Hospitality industry has been hit hard by the pandemic and driven many workers into alternative roles. Recruitment has changed, we need candidates to know everything we offer other than ‘a job’ to increase applications.

The Goal

The goal was to research into the target audience for Electric Shuffle jobs, and use that research to inform the recruitments pages on their web and mobile sites.

The Discovery process

During the Discovery phase of this project, there were a range of different tasks that were undertook.

These included:

  1. Stakeholder Interview

  2. User Research and Usability Test (with the current job application journey)

  3. Analytics Review (of the current job application journey)

  4. Market Research

  5. Current User-flow Mapping

Research Conclusion

The challenge: Educate candidates of the perks of working for the company and how it feels to be an employee.

The solution: Provide case studies, reviews and employee journey mapping to illustrate and bring the role to life.

Usability Impact: Ensure key job details are visable early on in the process. New venue openings, introduce the ability to apply for multiple jobs in one application with a hierarchical interest feature.

Business Impact: Increased quantity of applications. Minimised time spent educating on the perks & feelings at the interview stages. Talent pool increasingly further aligned to company values.
